Living creatively goes well beyond artistic endeavors. Creative living is more about our ideas, innovativeness, originality, and individuality — artistic or otherwise. When we are creating our lives based on the true desires of our soul, we are breathing life, meaning, purpose, value, and importance into all we do.

Living creatively doesn’t necessarily mean we hold down an ideal job, live a perfectly orchestrated life, or that we have every physical possession we ever wanted. Rather, it means that no matter what phase of life we are in, we are living each day creatively working toward a more joyful and fulfilling existence while still mindfully aware of every single blessing we have already been graced with.

When we live creatively, we are not following the ideas of others. Instead, we are dancing to the songs of our own souls and listening to the voice within ourselves to create what we individually find beautiful in our lives. And by creating — in whatever way suits us — our creations are, in turn, helping to form us into more aware and alive beings.
