WORKSHOP SUPPORT INFORMATION AND MATERIALS
Below are headphones and accessories I have used for my in-person workshops. We recommend over-ear wired stereo headphones. Remember -- NO wireless, Bluetooth, or noise canceling headphones because they compress the audio frequencies (except Bose Comfort over-ear headphones). We do not recommend earbuds, but if you use earbuds, they should be good quality and wired.
Most workshop attendees prefer to lie down while listening to audio exercises. Depending on the headphones you choose or already have you may need a longer cord. If you have (or are purchasing) headphones with a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) jack you'll need an adapter that converts them to a 3.5mm (1/8 inch) jack that fits into your computer. I have both the longer cord and adapter I use in the last row below.
To block ambient light while listening to the many audio exercises, you can use a towel, scarf, bandana, sleeping mask, or Mindfold mask. Mindfolds are comfortable and have "eye cavities" to keep your eye lids from being pressured while using.
