Manifestation Challenge — Day 20 — Power of Allowing

The POWER OF ALLOWING means being in a state of receiving what you have asked from the Universe. Easy, right? You asked the Universe, so of course you want it and are open to receiving it!
But there’s another part of this allowing — one that you probably don’t want to hear. You have to allow ALL situations to come to you — good and bad — and know they are happening for a reason and accept that there’s a Universal plan behind it.
The difficulty surrounding the Power of Allowing is that so many of us have had negative experiences that this has become the subconscious mindset we live within. We almost have an expectation of “something will go wrong,” or “this is too good to be true,” or “when will the other shoe drop,” because that is what has happened to us in the past. Because we sit in this mindset, we are not open to receiving all that is good for us. Our self-limiting beliefs have us convinced we are unworthy and undeserving of what we want to attain and many of our life’s experiences back this theory up and it has become our subconscious belief.
So let me add another element to the definition — the Power of Allowing is being willing and able to receive completely and openly whatever the Universe has to hand you because it may be a step closer to reaching your goal and pushing you out of a belief pattern and life cycle.
Accept all that comes to you — good and bad. Why? Because many times the negative situations in your life are veiling a positive aspect that will align you with your goal. You just do not see it yet for what it is. So allow all situations in your life to come forward, happen, and then accept all of the situations as learning experiences and a stepping stone to your goal.
The Power of Allowing is twofold (this is REALLY IMPORTANT). The second part being that you also need to allow others to make the choices in their lives that they need to make, even if you’re convinced those choices are wrong for them. I know this is difficult and goes against our human nature.
This is a very important part of allowing because in order for you to truly allow good things to come to you, you have to allow people to fulfill their goals, too, without interference from your beliefs and perceptions.
Everybody’s goals are different, everyone defines happiness and joy in a different way, so you must let others live their life in a way where they can reach their own goals and learn their own life’s lessons so they can mold and form into the person they were meant to be. Allow others around you to live the life they desire and choose and you will find an inner peace when you aren’t getting caught up in situations you cannot change.
Before you begin today’s activity, use your mindful coloring sheet (from previous blog) to bring you into a present state. Then begin your meditation practice as I’ve outlined the last few days.
For today’s Creative Meditation and Manifestation activity, really think about areas in your life where you could better practice the Power of Allowing. Your list can be related to your own goals or a way in which you could change to allow others to live their lives.
I have a few examples to get your mind working:
A coworker at work drives me crazy because she leaves dirty coffee cups laying around the office. I keep giving her signals that it bothers me, but she still does nothing. ALLOW: I will no longer be bothered by the actions of my coworker. If she wants to leave dirty coffee cups laying around the office, she can, as long as they are not left at my desk and interfering with my work. If this happens, I’ll simply walk the cup into the lunchroom and leave it on the counter for her to wash.
My friend is always late. Always. It bothers me and I’ve mentioned it to her, but it never changes. ALLOW: I will no longer be bothered by my friend’s tardiness and will simply schedule an additional 30 minutes ahead of time if I know there’s a place we both need to be.
This CMM activity is meant to help you identify instances for yourself and others where you are not allowing, so you can shift your thinking and be in your full POWER, knowing it’s for your highest purpose.
Remember that today’s Power of Allowing Meditation is an extension from the previous days’ blogs — so be sure to engage your Power of Intent, Power of Gratitude, Power of Sacred Space, Power of Meditation, Power of Mindfulness, Power of I AM, Power of Wording, Power of Journaling, Power of Thought, Power of Visualization, Power of Forgiveness, Power of Prayer, Power of Emotion, Power of Compassion, Power of Vibrational Frequency, Power of Belief, Power of Perception, Power of Trust, and Power of Surrender daily to bring your intangible intent (from Day 1 – Power of Intent) to fruition.
