Manifestation Challenge — Day 16 — Power of Belief

21 Day Manifestation Challenge -- Day 16: Power of Belief | Amara Honeck Author | Book: Creative Meditation and Manifestation: Using Your 21 Innate Powers to Create Your Life

Our beliefs are typically deep set and reflect how we experience our reality. They are ingrained in our view of the world, ourselves, and others. Our beliefs tell us how we expect things to be.

What we believe is the foundation for who we are, what we think we can do, and how we go about living our most authentic life. Our beliefs create the morals and values by which we live our life. Our POWER OF BELIEF is the driving force behind all of our thoughts, emotions, and words.

Since childhood, we have been programmed with certain beliefs. As children we were given our beliefs from our parents, teachers, and peers. We many times inherit the beliefs of those around us, accepting them as our own truth, without ever looking deeper to find out what we truly believe about ourselves when we stand alone.

I’m asking you now to push back the beliefs told to you by others, beliefs that you have absorbed as truth. Do you need an example? I have many:

  • If you have been told you’re not smart enough to achieve your dream, you have a belief set in that reality.

  • If you’ve been told you’re not beautiful, your belief has become set in that reality.

  • If you’ve been told you can’t do something because of a physical limitation, your belief has become set in that reality.

  • If you’ve been told you’re unlovable, your belief has become set in that reality.

  • If you’ve been told you’re not good enough, your belief has become set in that reality.

Once a belief becomes set in your reality, that is how you live your life and make choices — even when your beliefs are wrong about yourself. I can’t sugarcoat it — whatever self-limiting things you’ve been told, they are not true.

You are a powerful spiritual being, capable of absolutely whatever you set your mind to. You have been stymied in your growth by your own limiting beliefs, whether formed by others around you or learned through the blurry lens of life experience. The limiting beliefs have to go — they’re useless and serve no purpose except to tie you down and smother you from the joy of your life.

If you believe you are not worthy, this is the thought and emotion with which you’re walking around. Picture it like blurry eyeglasses. When you walk up to a situation that could be life changing for you in the most positive of ways, the blurry glasses don’t let you see the full scope of brightness of the change, and therefore, you ignore this wonderful turn on your life’s path. Soon, because you feel nothing will ever change for you, the glasses get blurrier until eventually you can’t see through them at all. You are trapped in your current belief system and existence with no clear views shining in that show you the opportunity for new and better experiences.

Take a leap of faith with me. Release the inner powers you possess and make things happen!

Like meditation and quieting the mind, belief can take a bit of training the brain to get over self-limiting thoughts. So my suggestion is to start small with believing. Train your mind that good things come from the Power of Belief.

Use the Power of Belief on regular, daily situations you already know will happen. After you’ve done this for a while, you’ll begin to see a shift. Your mind will become conditioned that the Power of Belief is working.

These beliefs may seem silly to say out loud, but they really work in creating that energy swirling around this power. If little things can be believable, your subconscious mind will soon adjust to the idea that bigger goals can (and will) happen, too. Make your own list randomly throughout the day and say your beliefs out loud.

  • I believe I will get to work safely and on time.

  • I believe I will be having a salad (you already packed) for lunch.

  • I believe I will get those boxes to the post office before the end of the day (they’re already packed and waiting by the door).

  • I believe my car will be parked exactly where I left it when I went into the store.

  • I believe I will be having crockpot chicken for dinner tonight (because that is what you prepared before you left home).

  • I believe I will be watching my favorite television show (because you already know it’s scheduled to be on).

  • I believe I will be wearing jeans and a blue shirt tomorrow as I run errands (because you’ve already laid your clothes out for the next day).

The key to the Power of Belief is knowing everything will work out and what you want can and will happen. You need to understand that beliefs can and do change when significant events in our lives come to fruition through the Power of Intent. When you realize you hold all of the powers to manifest a beautiful life, and you’ve made progress in your intentions using your Creative Meditation and Manifestation practice, it’s life changing.

Before you begin today’s activity, use your mindful coloring sheet (from previous blog) to bring you into a present state. Then begin your meditation practice as I’ve outlined the last few days.

For today’s CMM activity, work on identifying self-limiting beliefs. Choose two strong beliefs you have about your life and ask yourself — why? Where do these beliefs stem from? Then write how these beliefs either limit you or push your forward. There is no right or wrong answer.

This CMM activity is meant to demonstrate how our beliefs can be controlling aspects in our lives and can propel us forward or hold us back in the achievement of our life’s goals.

Remember that today’s Power of Belief Meditation is an extension from the previous days’ blogs – so be sure to engage your Power of Intent, Power of Gratitude, Power of Sacred Space, Power of Meditation, Power of Mindfulness, Power of I AM, Power of Wording, Power of Journaling, Power of Thought, Power of Visualization, Power of Forgiveness, Power of Prayer, Power of Emotion, Power of Compassion, and Power of Vibrational Frequency daily to bring your intangible intent (from Day 1 – Power of Intent) to fruition.
