Manifestation Challenge — Day 11 — Power of Forgiveness

21 Day Manifestation Challenge -- Day 11: Power of Forgiveness | Amara Honeck Author | Book: Creative Meditation and Manifestation: Using Your 21 Innate Powers to Create Your Life

Today we’re going to work directly with negative thoughts and the effect they have on your life and your Creative Meditation and Manifestation practice. Negative thoughts weigh you down like rocks in your pockets. Most negative thoughts come from past experiences or future worries, as you have already learned in this blog. The problem with negative thoughts about past issues is that the past has already happened and cannot be changed. Mistakes that or others have made involving you cannot be taken back. So now what?

It’s important to express the Power of Forgiveness to let these negative emotions go and unclog any barrier to your joy. I encourage you to try to see all of your negative situations as a learning experience. Can you look back on your negative situation and see anything positive that you gained? Even the worst sort of negative experience many times has something positive to be found.

Maybe something that happened to you stuck in your mind and now you are more cognizant of your treatment of family and friends — even strangers? By having that negative experience, you have improved yourself, those you love and care about, and you have sent positive energy into the world by the personal changes you have made because of the growth of your experience.

Although your negative experience was unpleasant, if you can look at the situation and not sit in regret, but instead try to understand from a more Universal concept of lessons learned, you will be able to work through your negative situation and lessen its impact by finding the positive nugget among the negativity.

Forgiveness requires a commitment to releasing the past hurts and disappointments. But if you can see it from a different perspective, that what happened was necessary for your spiritual growth, you can shift your thinking and see the profound insight of the lesson learned.

I am in agreement with you — thought shifting is difficult. You’re basically trusting that everything that happens to you is for a higher purpose. And it is. Be willing to recognize that your life is truly divinely guided and you are being led to the experiences you need for your highest purpose in life.

Be easy on yourself and accept this insight. It doesn’t mean you can’t question why something happened to you. But if you can find peace in a lesson learned, and know that you are better for it, then you can let go and find a new level of comfort and natural alignment with your goals.

Life does not happen by accident.

The Power of Forgiveness also includes forgiving yourself for any misdeeds or actions. We all make mistakes and when we’ve thought them through and can see the error of our ways, true forgiveness can come from within.

Don’t think I’ve overlooked that painful things we’ve experienced can be challenging to forgive and overcome. I am very aware of (and have lived through) such difficulties. I’m asking you to forgive — not accept. And by forgiving, you are giving yourself a great gift of release, release of the emotional hurt and hold it has over you so you can break free of your cocoon into the better, healed you, the strong you, the powerful you.

Before you begin today’s activity, use your mindful coloring sheet (from previous blog) to bring you into a present state. Then begin your meditation practice as I’ve outlined the last few days.

Today’s CMM Activity will focus on forgiveness journaling. Write about a situation in your past that was difficult. Please write in detail, because you want to pull through the emotion you felt when the negative situation originally happened. I promise, there’s a reason to drag you through it again.

I ask that you choose a situation that happened quite some time ago, so you know you’ve had enough time to view the situation from a more learned place and can see it with more clarity and the advantage of hindsight.

For the second part of this activity, write at least four ways that situation improved you for the better.

Last, read those four statements out loud. Feel the Power of Forgiveness as you release the negative and fill the space with positive learnings. You have just cleared a space in your heart for more receiving from Spirit. How? The negative issue can now move out of your belief system because you understand the amazing growth you experienced. View it as a purging. The empty space is now filled with your thoughts of the positive aspects of the lesson — the betterment has taken the place of the negativity. It has filled you with more light and love. You have shown your subconscious that the belief system has changed and you have given reasoning behind it.
