Manifestation Challenge — Day 09 — Power of Thought

21 Day Manifestation Challenge -- Day 9: Power of Thought | Amara Honeck Author | Book: Creative Meditation and Manifestation: Using Your 21 Innate Powers to Create Your Life

The POWER OF THOUGHT is so important in manifesting the life you desire because our thoughts really do create who we are and the reality we experience. If you believe that you are unintelligent, then those thoughts will manifest into your every day reality. If you believe that you can do anything you put your mind to, then you will be an achiever because that is your mindset and an ingrained thought process that coincides with your subconscious mind.

Thoughts are more powerful than words because we have thoughts all the time, even though we do not speak them. Thoughts create our reality even if our thoughts about ourselves are wrong, even if our thoughts about others are wrong. Therefore, it is important to train the brain on how to think in a more positive light without dismissing the underlying reason for the negative thoughts. Sometimes, changing a negative thought pattern is as simple as teaching yourself to see the positive in every situation and toning down the power of the negative thought.

You have already read the blog on the Power of Gratitude and I‘m asking you now to pull that information forward as a guide for this blog. Bring the concept of thankfulness into your thought process every single day and in every moment that you possibly can.

When you can train your brain to think of everything in a positive light, you will be in a vibrational alignment (Power of Vibrational Frequency) to manifest. When you are happy and positive about the outcomes of your life, this is the energy with which you will align. When you can be content with the current life you have (even if you want something more) — when you can find in your thought process the positives and the joyful aspects of your current life and keep your thoughts in that frame of mind — you will be aligning with the energy of your goals.

Everyone has difficult times and bad days, but it’s how you handle these thoughts that really makes the difference. If you can manage thoughts from a realistic viewpoint by seeing how things really are, and not the way you perceive them to be, you will live in a much more positive, joyful state.

Remember, many times our negative thoughts are not what we think they are. They are based on our belief systems. They can be made larger than life by our mood and attitude. A friend may look at your negative situation and see nothing that bad because it does not trigger their belief system and negative way of thinking. You are many times the only one bothered by the thought.

So turn the thought around and think of a blessing. Think of something you’re grateful for so you can change the energy that you are emitting to the Universe.

Before you begin today’s activity, use your mindful coloring sheet (from previous blog) to bring you into a present state. Then begin your meditation practice as I’ve outlined the last couple of days.

Each day as part of this 21 day blogging series you’ll have an activity to complete related to each Power that will assist you with manifestation. For today’s Creative Meditation and Manifestation activity, we’ll work on a method I have found to turn negative thoughts around. Begin by writing 10 negative statements about your life that your thoughts believe are true. Then come back and rewrite the sentences in a positive way by rethinking your thoughts using what you’ve learned in this chapter. I have started you with a few examples of what I mean below:

  • Example: I don’t like getting up early every day to go to work.

  • Rewrite: I AM thankful for my job that gives me an opportunity to spend time with my peers and earn the money that meets all of the necessities for my family each month.

  • Example: I look horrible in these clothes.

  • Rewrite: I AM thankful for my body and all it has done for me and gotten me through.

When you’re finished with the rewrites, go back and read ONLY the negative thoughts OUT LOUD, one after another. Draw a line through the negative comment when you’ve finished.

Now read all of your rewritten positive thoughts OUT LOUD, one after another. Do you feel the difference? There’s almost a feeling of heaviness in the negative thoughts. Can you feel the Power of Emotion and the Power of Thought when you do this? That shift when the energy behind your thoughts and words changes to a positive tone?

Thoughts really do create your reality.

Remember that today’s Power of Thought Meditation is an extension from the previous days’ blogs — so be sure to engage your Power of Intent, Power of Gratitude, Power of Sacred Space, Power of Meditation, Power of Mindfulness, Power of I AM, Power of Wording, and Power of Journaling daily to bring your intangible intent (from Day 1 — Power of Intent) to fruition.
