Manifestation Challenge — Day 03 — Power of Sacred Space

The POWER OF SACRED SPACE. Sacred space is any area you use for a spiritual or meditative practice. At its most basic, it is a quiet place where you can contemplate questions and listen to the needs of your soul. Sacred space is perfect for your Creative Meditation and Manifestation (CMM) practice and can be in your home or nature — wherever you feel most connected to the guidance in your life.
What creates a feeling of sacredness when you look at it? Whatever creates that feeling defines the type of items to put into your sacred space. Choose objects for your space that inspire you in your CMM practice:
Beautiful artwork.
Photographs of loved ones.
Prayer beads.
Items from nature that hold meaning for you or remind you of a special place (stones, sticks, pinecones, shells, feathers).
Sentimental items given to you from loved ones.
Candles and incense.
A fountain.
Chimes, bells, or a singing bowl.
Plants, flowers, and herbs.
Quotes and words of wisdom that hold meaning for you.
Religious statuary, medallions, and symbols.
Your sacred space is where you will spend a few moments in opening meditation (info coming in the blog in a few days), complete your daily activity, and have your moments of meditation closing. You want to use your space often and build the positive energy that you sit in.
Each day as part of this 21 day blogging series you’ll have an activity to complete related to each Power that will assist you with manifestation. For today's project, draw and write how you would like your space to look and what elements you want to include. Next start setting up your sacred space. You do not need to purchase anything. All elements of your space can likely be found in your home. Be mindful to include something that represents each of these elements — quiet location, comfortable seating, ambient or candle light, sound that you can use to start/end your quiet time in sacred space, and an appealing scent (incense, candles, flowers) — because these elements create the atmosphere for your CMM practice. Take as much time as you need to create your sacred space because you are preparing it to become your meditation spot. Your space will grow and change as you do.
Remember that today’s power is an extension from the previous days’ blogs — so be sure to restate your intent out loud (Power of Intent) and express gratitude (Power of Gratitude) when creating your sacred space.
